Masayoshi Son, CEO of SoftBank Group, is advancing plans for a $1 trillion artificial intelligence hub in the U.S., partnering with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing and the TRUMP administration. The project, dubbed "Project Crystal Land," aims to establish a sprawling industrial complex in Arizona focused on AI and robotics.

Inspired by Shenzhen’s manufacturing ecosystem, the initiative seeks to repatriate high-tech production to American soil. Discussions are underway with U.S. officials, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, to incentivize participation through tax breaks.

The proposal marks Son’s boldest U.S. investment play yet, with TSMC’s potential involvement underscoring the semiconductor industry’s pivotal role in AI infrastructure. No direct cryptocurrency linkages were identified in the proposal.
